Unemployment statistics released for the week ending October 27 (announced today) show unemployment claims are down slightly from the same period in 2006. In spite of some recent doom and gloom concerning the US dollar, the ongoing war in Iraq, fires in California, the employment economy seems to be doing just fine, thanks.
