SkillsUSA to host information webinars during SkillsUSA Week

SkillsUSA announced today that it will host two web conferences, especially for student leaders. The web conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 13, part of SkillsUSA Week. SkillsUSA invites local, regional or state officers and advisors to participate in the conferences. In the first webinar, SkillsUSA executive director Timothy W. Lawrence will offer a State of the Association address then tell student leaders about key programs and opportunities. After this, Lawrence will open the floor to questions on any issue related to SkillsUSA. Because space is limited, there will be two conferences, one held at 9 a.m (intended for East Coast participants) and a second at 1 p.m. (suited for West Coast schools).

You can volunteer as a potential participant, by contacting kperrino (at) skillsusa.org. Provide the name of each participant, SkillsUSA elected office held, training program, school, city and state. Please provide an email address for each potential participant so that Skills USA can send out specific log-in instructions closer to February 13.

SkillsUSA Week is celebrated the second week of February each year as part of CTE month.
